Main Screen

The blue shield shows your current GPS location and follows you in real time. The emanating red lines show the Virtual Radar alert zone. The alert zone is directional, and dynamically narrows and elongates as your speed increases. Icons animate while the corresponding audio alert is played.

View Your Profile

Profile pages give you the ability to see your Karma Score, plus the distance you have traveled with Trapster running. You will also see the number of votes you have submitted, reports you have made, and even the number of traps or hazards you have avoided. You will also see stats on Trips you are currently recording or currently taking!

Reporting Traps You See

Simply click on the Report button (after logging in) to report a trap along your route. When you select the appropriate trap type, it is placed at your current GPS position. If the correct position of the trap is different than your current GPS position, you can further pinpoint the correct location by dragging the map.

Trap Details

The trap details screen gives you more in-depth information about a trap such as when it was reported, who voted on it last, and the ability to share the trap with your friends.

Speed Limit Reporting

Trapster displays the speed limit of the road you are driving on, if that info is wrong or not displaying - you have the ability to either correct the posted limit or enter it yourself.

Settings

This screen controls your settings. At times you may wish to temporarily disable or adjust some of these items:

• Audio Settings:

  Customize Trapster with one of 6 languages including English, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, or Spanish. You can select the sound theme that best matches your personality, be that Knight Rider, Yogi and Boo Boo, Austin Powers...and the list goes on. Check out the list under the main settings menu on your Android device.

• Items Displayed on Map:

  Turn on or off items displayed on the map such as speed limits, traffic, patrol, and more.

• Traps Settings:

  You can turn off traps you don't want to be alerted of.

• Map Type:

  To change the look and feel of the map from your basic map to a Terrain or Satellite view, select "Settings" from the main Android Menu on your phone, and then select "Map Type".

Recent Traps / Nearby Traps

• Nearby Traps:

  See traps and road hazards that are within 3 miles of you.

• New Traps:

  See traps and road hazards that have been reported within the last 24 hours.

Widget

Put Trapster on your home screen using the Trapster widget for Android. The widget notifies you of traps in your area and allows you to vote on them as you pass them.
